Mission

We are looking for a R&D Laboratory Intern (M/F) to join the Applied Food R&D team in the Solution & Ingredient Division of our European subsidiary of the Ajinomoto Group, which provides technical and innovative solutions to food manufacturers in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Our expertise in ingredient formulation enables us to meet the specific needs of our industrial customers. 

Your responsibilities :

  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyses under the supervision of senior R&D staff.
  • Prepare samples, ingredients, and materials required for our application trials
  • Collect, record, and interpret experimental data with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Participate in the development, optimization, or validation of laboratory methods and procedures.
  • Ensure proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Follow safety and quality standards in all laboratory activities.
  • Support the team with day-to-day lab tasks and ongoing projects as needed.

Profile

- Currently enrolled in a scientific degree (preferably Food Science, also possible for Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or related field).

  • - Strong interest in laboratory work and Food R&D activities.
  • - Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and good scientific understanding.
  • - Rigorous, organized, and attentive to detail.
  • - Willingness to learn and ability to follow established procedures.
  • - Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
