Mission

Within the Foodservice Marketing department at Ajinomoto Frozen Foods, you are responsible for the product development and marketing strategy both pre-launch and post-launch. 

Product Portfolio Management/Innovation Launch:

  • Based on your diagnosis, you make quantified recommendations for product renovation or innovation
  • You manage innovation/renovation projects according to the established innovation pipeline, from the testing phase to their launch plan with customers, in collaboration with the relevant departments (quality/R&D/logistics...)
  • You define and deploy your innovation launch plans on the relevant channels, in collaboration with the rest of the FS team and the sales teams
  • You monitor and analyze the performance of launch plans: reports, KPIs, and corrective actions

Business Intelligence :

  • You ensure competitive intelligence and monitor customer usage & trends
  • You connect with sales teams to gather customer insights that can feed plans and help understanding their usage and expectations onr the category (notably through market visits).
  • You monitor the performance of products and categories within the product portfolio

Marketing strategy:

  • You collaborate in the construction of the annual FS marketing plan based on your market diagnosis, range, and competitive intelligence
  • You push recommendations on product development/renovation
  • You recommend an annual activation plan for your channels and implement the necessary means to achieve the set objectives

Sales support :

  • Based on the analysis of user’s Touch Point (or customer journey), you develop and implement the relevant activation leverages to support your launches or renovations (creative briefs, ofline support development, online animation recommendations...)
  • You are responsible for the product content (USP, arguments...) implemented in the sales or activation tools.
  • You develop the associated sales tools linked to this content for the frozen Asian FS ranges

Profile

Required knowledges and skills, Experience, know-how, and interpersonal skills with rating (requires basic knowledge, practice, mastery, or expertise)

  • First marketing experience ideally in FS (minimum 5 years)
  • Deep understanding of value chain
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple project in parallel
  • Team spirit and leadership
  • Communication internal and external
  • Adaptability and customer orientation
  • Fluent English is essential - proficiency in another language (Chinese, Spanish, Dutch, German, Italian) is a plus
  • Strong interest in the food industry, especially Japanese food and Asian Food
  • The desire to evolve in a short structure rich in learning is a real plus
